8th Grade Recognition
Each school day, we will recognize a few 8th graders in order to help recognize them before they go off to high school in the fall!
Josephine Walker: Josie is a member of the Royal Team. She has been an all around great citizen during her time at MCMS. She is a hard worker academically and athletically. In addition, she has such a positive attitude and is not afraid to try new things. She has spent time on the field, playing soccer and softball, and had a season of basketball. This year she also played the police officer in th school's spring musical, "Annie Jr." While I know Josie will go on to do great things in high school and beyond, she will be greatly missed at MCMS!
Cassidy McCormack: Cassidy is a member of the Royal Team. She is such an amazing human! She is well rounded and such an incredibly caring person. Cassidy has shown herself to be an excellent student- someone who is hardworking, responsible and motivated. She is also such a great school citizen- she has been a member of sports teams, played an active role in our school plays, an excellent singer, an avid reader and she has a love of learning. Cassidy- thank you for being such an awesome person!
Henry Webb: Henry is a member of the Acadia Team. He has such a thorough knowledge of history- especially World War I history. In 2019, he was also the school GeoBee champ- Henry is very impressive with his geographic and historical knowledge! Henry cares deeply about his family and is a good big brother. Henry- keep up your thirst for learning and good luck in HS!
