Athletic Fun Fact #4: Boys basketball has won 5 KVAC titles, won 3 Regional titles, and appeared in three state championship games winning 2 of them.
Athletic Fun Fact #3: The first state titles for our school were in 1977 when the boys alpine team won the team title and the boys ski team (alpine and nordic combined) won the overall combined title. The first of 13 titles for boys alpine.
Athletic Fun Fact #2: Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country, and Boys Nordic Skiing each have 10 conference titles.
Athletic Fun Fact #1: The boys soccer team has won 11 KVAC championships since 1998, the most in school history. Coaches: Tony Flye (98,99) Brant Remington (2000) and current coach Don Beckwith (05, 06, 07, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18).

Sports Update:
Not much new to report. The MPA has postponed their sport meetings until at least next week. Start date is still 4/27 but if you've been following the news it doesn't look good at this point, in my opinion. Will update when I learn more. Take care.
Message from MPA:
We would ask each school to treat this time similarly to how you would treat the hands-off time between seasons and during the two-week period in early August. There should not be any organized team activity between now and the start of the spring season. Coaches should not be organizing individual workout plans for their athletes and there should be no expectation that athletes participate in any type of an organized training program.

Special Olympics has suspended all activities, therefore the MS unified game tomorrow (3/12) at home and the festival on Saturday (3/14) have been cancelled.
